That perfection you experience on stage is preceded by months of obsessive dedication and a “creative war” fought through omitted lines and relentless running. But behind the curtain, it’s a high-speed mission, with costuming and makeup changes taking milliseconds, thanks to invisible heroes operating lights and sound from the shadows. The final ovation erupts and that exhaustion melts into pure bliss. At the end of the day, every play is a win for all those men and women who work around the clock in front of and behind the camera.
